The GSD 24 is an excellent sounder, just realize it is a 8 pin box. The transducer is compatible BUT you need an adaptor cable.

The GSD24 comes WITH the adapter. ;)
is it a worthwhile upgrade change to go with the gsd 24 from a gsd-22, I currently have the garmin 5212 plotter, airmar M260 1kw in hull ducer, ? thanks for any help.
