I watched a show of that friday night. Not sure if it was episode 1 a couple days early or what, but it was pretty good.

Nothing beats a strike with screaming drag.

Bad link?

Thats a cool show. But the guy who kept asking "Gimme numbers" was quite annoying. I mean come on do some work for yourself. We all have honey holes where we fish and never tell people the exact location. Thats just how fish'n goes.

But I really liked the show.

I think the guys are putting on alot of drama sneaky sneaky wtf guy mind your own business if he worried about himself as much as he would catch some fish! Give me some numbers wth is wrong with these guys been fishing for bft for 20yrs, and you need numbers?

Most if not all usually head out in groups when they head to Georges Bank. It's a long steam out to there and the weather can get violent. It's a safety in numbers thing when you consider most boats are under 40' in length. When you hear them ask for numbers they at least want to be in sight of one another. They may have played that up for a little TV drama.

Enjoy it fellas......but remember, this stuff is more aptly labeled unreality TV. I have a close friend who hosted a hunting show with a well-known TV personality.....the producers take GREAT liberty in producing a show based in "reality". Their main concern is good TV, not whether it's accurate.

I really enjoyed the show. Going into it knowing that it is a "reality" tv show makes it easier. The fights and personalities might be altered a bit, thats fine. I am watching it for the tuna. There are some great shots and footage.

My only complaint is that it is on at 10 pm. I get all fired up for some tuna then try to get some shut eye for work. I might have to start DVRing it and watching it the following weekend!
