This seems to be the hotbed for LSS-1 discussions on the web. I am hat in hand here looking for a LSS-1 power cable.

I sold my boat and forgot to pull it out and now with my HDS10 Gen2 just days away from hitting my doorstep I find that they are out of stock nation wide and no ETA on when they will be back.

Does anyone have a spare power cable for the LSS-1 they will sell me?

Please?

:)

Thanks!

It is an all black cable & connector. It is 4 wire , and the wiring is red/black/yellow and blue. The yellow works like the yellow on radar to connect to the HDS power cable's Yellow lead to turn on the lss-1 or the radar with the head unit. the blue is not used and may be clipped back.

I can't find a good picture but the part number is PC-31BLN

Sorry, I was thinking the 7 pin blue connector for the HDS unit itself.

Nope, it is the black one with a single cable. I have plenty of the 7pin blue ones you mention :)

Anybody know where to get one?

You might be able to ask and get the old one if you ask. Can't hurt to if you have not already unless..... you forgot to mention something when you sold it and you know he found it already.:banghead:

Thanks for the vote of confidence John :roll I've left messages on his home phone and his mobile isn't set up so it goes nowhere. Don't you think I would have tried that first? ;?

I am batting a thousand Crystal, first Cory now you. My sense of humor did not work with you either. Sorry

I took me a few weeks to get my Tach Cable last year for my new to me F250 when I bought it from KingfisherW down in OR.

I think your best option is your old one. You could try and Call Lowrance try to find one that is sitting on someones desk.

No problem, sorry if I over-reacted :)

I actually got an email from him today and it turns out the boat is still here in WA and he just took some time getting back to his home in AK. The place that is repowering his whaler will mail it to me next week. He's having the boat sent up on the ferry on the 13th with new power, gauges and controls. He's still excited to get it and get out fishing in Sitka. I kinda wish I could see it before it left, but I'll settle for getting the cable back :)

He was telling me a story of how he should have died in the San Juan's in the '70's when his commercial fishing boat caught a line and flipped in bad weather. It was a 22' whaler and he always felt that the fact it didn't sink saved him. He sat up on top of it until the coast guard came out to get him.

Anyway, thanks everyone for keeping an eye out for me, looks like I'll be OK.
