Can someone help clarify something for me? I am looking at the NSS with the B164 Ducer. If I add Structure Scan, does it require a completely seperate Ducer?

Yes I just bought 2 nse 12 units u will need either 1 or 2 structure scan transducers if u have a flat spoton the hull u can use 1 otherwise u will need 2. They come as a package around 950 for the pair and y cable there is a rebate on them now

Thanks for the response! Is there much to adjust on the scan or is it really "plug and play" as long as it is on an auto setting. A buddy recently purchased one and was having difficulty reading the scan. He was also in 15 feet so some adjustment might have been needed.

i just started playing with mine, seams pretty easy to me.very east to determine what the bottom looked like,no problem in figuring out what we were seeing.only a few adjustments to play with.only problem i had was having to trim up my 225 to get it out of the ducers line of site.
