Any of you guys using a waterproof case for your iphones on the boat? I'm thinking about getting one for this season and am looking at drycase, aquabox, and amphibian. So far I like the drycase because I can plug in to the head unit and listen to music. I read where you can use the camera with it in the case but not sure about making a phone call. Amphibian looks like you can use the phone but not plug in music. I'm not planning on swimming with it, just trying to protect the phone as much as possible while around the water. Any help?
Thanks

I use otterboxes as often as possible,I've had them for my iphones, have one for my droid now, I keep a couple of the waterproof cases in the e-box for people to stick their wallets, jewelry, watches, etc in as well.

As far as the waterproof phone cases, they're more splashproof than waterproof, think they're only rated to a depth of a few feet.

I haven't bought one just yet but noticed cheap, sealed plastic boxes at the grocery store the other day. They appear to simply be food storage boxes but actually had a rubber seal all the way around the edge like the expensive units available at bass pro.

Lifeproof... My GF got one over the weekend and demonstrated by throwing it (from 30' away) into the pool. It works!

Obviously it is well worth the $80.

Yet another vote for Lifeproof. Had mine since October and it's definitely saved me on a couple occasions.
