My daughter won this Yuengling Lager "Hybrid Z2" 62" x 10" snowboard from a local beer distributor (chip off the ole block ). Anyone have any idea what it might be worth? A guy offered to buy it for $150. We want to be sure she's not ripping him off and that we're not giving it away. Found one link on the .net that said the value is about $275? Thanks.

What size is it? It should be marked somewhere, like a "57" or "157". Keep in mind there is little incentive to buy a $275 snowboard off craigs list if I can get the same board from a board shop for the same money. It's really only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.

Who made it? If you can nail down a model and brand you can put a number to it. For $150 I might be interested too.

I hear you. I'm more concerned the guy is paying too much than too little. He's a friend of my daughter's who wants to buy it for his Dad's birthday.

Found their website:

Snowboards have a hybrid V-2 cap construction which consists of a high gloss scratch resistant coextruded top sheet, tri-axial fiberglass, tip to tail wood core, reinforced steel edges, fortified stainless steel binding inserts, and a sintered base. Each promotional snowboard is custom made, branded with your graphics, has consistent vibrant colors and is built to professional quality standards.

That board is too small for most adult males. A 155 board will typically fit up to someone 5'8" and around 165 pounds. Funny that they would make a "beer board" in a size for a teenager.

Good for a chick or a small guy. Not really collectible. $150 is fair.

Most of the ones I've seen are hanging up in lodge bars. I'd love something like this hanging up on the wall in my house's bar. There definitely are buyers for this type of thing. A lot of my boarding friends have been in the market for something like this. $150-200 seems reasonable IMO

I won nearly the same board at a mountain a few years back... it's pretty useless if you're a decent boarder, but it may be good for a beginner. I'm 5' 10" / 170lbs, and I ride a 161 for freeriding and a 166 for powder and backcountry.

At least yours has cool graphics... anyone interested in an unused Dunkin' Donuts snowboard? ;) (A roll of woodgrain contact paper took care of the topside, but it still has the damn pink and orange logo in the sintered base.)

I agree with others - throw it up on craigslist for $150 and be prepared to accept less.

Make me an offer

Anyway, thanks everyone. Doubt the guy will want it now, unless his Dad is smaller. I'll try CL and see if I can get $100 w/ no shipping. If it doesn't sell maybe I'll make a coat hanger or something out of it.

Your killing me lol. I barely have enough room for my 3 boards right now but that # is so tempting. Any chance you have this board at the SE PA location you have listed?

It easily could be. My daughter has it at her place in Lancaster but she's back and forth often.
