On my 2005 48' Viking there are one of these female 24v electrical connections in each corner of the cockpit. A few questions:
I know Bals Cee Norm is a German company and I found their website, but does anyone know where to order these parts in the US? I need to buy 2 or 3 of the male connectors for these outlets to wire to my electric reels.
Right now these outlets are rigged for 24v, however, I want to rewire them for 12v to use with my electric reels. I think I can just swap the wires on the back of my electrical panel (where these outlets are switched with a breaker) from the 24v section to the 12v section. Is there any reason I can't use these same connections even though they are rated for 24v? I imagine it should be ok?
Any advice welcomed. Thank you.
Peter
