Marine Electronics Forum - Simrad NSS8/TM260 ..... underway video/pics

The NSS8/TM260 make for a great package. The NSS8 sonar functionalities are easy to use and understand. I really like the fact you can control the functions of each display running 200/50 khz independent of the other.

Here is the video looking aft while running on plane. Heard I might a rooster tail following me around but no such luck. Thanks to my supporting cast ... my wife, daughter, and grand daughter.

is this BSM1?

you are saying you can have different gain or bottom lock or shift or other settings on each side of the display independantly ?

I assume he is using the builtin sonar module in NSS8 which is identical to BSM-1.

I was using the NSS 8 sonar not the BSM 1

Can an HDS unit show dual frequencies? Is it transducer dependent? (since you have the bad boy of transom mounted transducers!)
