Hi, Im having some trouble deciding Between the NSE and NSS series,one thing i would like to have available is the structure map feature , i have been told by my local Navico rep that he thinks the NSS series will never be able to support Structure map because the internal processor is not powerful enough to drive the touchscreen and structure map, where as the HDS Gen 2 and NSE series processors are capable.

Also for NSS users that utilize the micro sd slot for their cartography will have no secondary memory slot available to store Structure map history.

Has anyone else looked into this and if so could you share your findings?

According to what I've heard NSS and HDS Gen2 have the same processor system.

I think we will see StructureMap for NSS in the next software release. The single SD slot will be a major drawback for those not running internal cartography when using NSS for StructureMap.
