Anyone been to or live in Hawaii?
Just wondering what you think it would be like to live there years round?
Never been myself.

I go there almost yearly and surf. Great place, but a lot of transplants complain about island fever, rarely getting off their island.
Weather is always good. Best part is if you can arrange it, ski on Mauna Kea. It great to be able to say you skiied in Hawaii.
If you want to live there, imho stay clear of tourist locations as there are always busy.
What island are you thinking of?

went to Maui. It is beautiful but way to far from everything. I think when I was there milk was like $8.00 a gallon as everything has to come from the mainland. It is very expensive to do almost anything there.

Thanks for the replies, don't know much about Hi. but I like the yr round temps. and am looking for a place. Ca. is all screwed up (imo) politicly, Fl. always looks good, but am looking every option. Hi. is a long shot being so far away but worth asking a few questions about.
