I'm ordering a simrad nse 12 and mabe an nse 8 if the budget allows and I need to decide on a through hull transducer ASAP the one that I've been recomended is a bronze b64 ,so I'm after your opinions and other recommendations ,I fish water depths between 1 and 35 meters of water thanks :thumbsup:

Sorry typo it's a b 164 bronze through hull transducer

How big of a boat? If you can go for it, the B260 with the high speed fairing is Awesome. not a flush mount, but it will have more elements than the 164. Goes nicely with the NSE setup.

The boat is an edgewater 205 express about 20-21 foot

Ahh... then I think you are on the right track with the 164. The 260 is like 2' long with the fairing, its a beast. That will be a sweet setup on your boat.

Pt juder1 thanks for the feed back I'm looking at getting a 4g radar and auto.pilot and structure scan . As I do quite a bit of night fishing I can't wait for my new boat to arrive .

For 1-35m I would have gone for B60. At these depths B164 and B260 covers very little water due to the narrow cone angles. If you have the budget for it B270W would be an excellent alternative.
