I need to make sure what transducer I have...b60 or a b260,can I count the pins or what do I need to do to find out if it is the 500 b60 or the 1000 b260?

Your 667 is 8 Pin and the 585 is 10 Pin. The amount of pins has nothing to do with output power. The B60 looks like a soda can with a flange around the bottom. The B260 looks like a football.

great,I have the football and assume there will be a cable needed to make this work ? looks like I will order later this day with the july temps we are having in march I am ready for some fishing
