Anyone have one? I have a hard time capturing them because I am usually focused on other things. I did have a chance to take a couple from my office window during one smaller storm though.

Wow, those are definitely some angry seas. Nice office window too, is that looking out a pilot house at the bow of the boat?

My boat's too small to be messing with Neptune's wrath but here's a favorite of the Coast Guard lads running out out inlet when the tides coming in and the river's going out. I've been through 6 foot swells out the inlet before last year's dredge but my boat doesn't handle it as well as the the 45' RB

That is from sitting in my captains chair. Its paradise on earth most of the time.
Edit: here it is getting a bath. We were getting ready to apply the anti fouling bottom paint.

That clip is from Oceans, its called Riding the Waves. Great video, but from across the globe, not just the Horn. The lighthouse shots are off the coast of France, and the fishing bit is from the North sea...

whoa.
I was shooting a poker run in St Pete a few years ago- 5-7's in Tampa Bay.
Sustained 25mph winds- pilot couldn't hold position worth a damn it was blowing so hard-
I was just happy I wasn't in a boat that day.

85 boats started the run, only 6 made it to the lunch stop. :o
With 10-12's outside, this shot shows how far most made it past the Sunshine Skyway.
In the photo is a 50ft Mystic, a 48ft MTI and a 38 Skater- all making tight u-turns back to the house.

That one hit us pretty good but far from damaging anything, been in much worse up to 75 wave height. We trust the old girl now she's a 300 foot fishing vessel that works in the Bering Sea Alaska.

Jags, I really like that tackle station above the transom live well on your Cape Horn. Is that a production accessory or a custom modification? I would love to make better use of that transom space on our 23T.

2:29-2:35 is some of the neatest footage of rough weather that I've ever seen.

its crazy how video camera's don't do a rough sea any justice. The way your boat is rolling..those are real life...5 footers?
