Late report. Fished Thursday , We left in the fog and made the run down to the 550. Fished the hard break and worked our way north. Ended up with a surprise going 1 for 3 on the Sails. Kept heading north and caught a gaffer Dolphin. Lots of boats at the point and we jigged on some nice deep marks but no love. We kept working the area and after all the boats left we managed to box some Yellowfin . I'll tell ya the weedline on the hard break was the best I have seen in a long time.
On a side note went to my dads and the stripers were biting on the Chowan near the dye plant.

What boat were you on? I was on the Matador out of Oden's on Thursday. We caught a bunch of Albacores, an equal amount of Blackfin, and a few donkeys at the rockpile and some gaffer dolphins on the weed lines south of the point.

The Cobia tower is working great. It truly is amazing how much more you can see from up top verses being down on the deck. We tried out a seat that I made for it this past weekend. It is now almost too comfortable. I made a cushioned sling type seat that just snaps in place. Nice to be able to see breaks, bait, and fish off in the distance. I am steering with the AP remote and it is very nice.
I really thought it would not be as comfortable as it is. Even when it is rough it is not that bad. Everyone likes it.

Pretty day for sure Ed. Waiting on some photos of the Sail. I was at the wheel and billing the fish. Pretty neat having one billfish under the belt so early in the year. I should have some White Marlin footage from last year up soon.
