UCON as well. If I can just get Syracuse and the child molester protector Boheim out that would be a trifecta for me.
DUKE always gets a high seed and they don't always deserve it. I am very pleased that they lost, but they were probably more like a 5-6 seed anyway so not such a huge upset in my mind. But to see their fans in disbelief made my day.

Duke is still a class act....they have a high grad rate, generally don't look for or fool around with "one and done" players....high team GPA, play team ball...undeniable record and b-ball tradition...

Like Kyrie Irvin or Austin Rivers? I mention Austin Rivers because I suspect he will announce, he's projected in the top 20 in the draft. What about this years recruiting class Shabazz Muhamaad a guaranteed one and done if coach K develops him right. Duke is listed as one of his choices. Duke is also in on 2 of the top 3 in the 2013 class & the top point guard and center in the class of 2014 also list Duke in their top choices. All these guys are possible one and done. Again if they develop right. Really you can't blame or place fault on a coach or team that recruits this these players as long as there no other baggage with them. If that player is out there, he has to play somewhere for 1 year, it's a NCAA rule. If the very best player in the country called your team and said I want to play ball for you........Do you turn him down. If he's out there do you not recruit him just because he might go pro, I doubt it. I guess you could hold him back from developing his talents or advise him against turning pro? Not the kind of coach I'd want my son playing for. As Bill O'Reilly would say "What say you"? Forgot to mention I'm not a Coach K hater I actually like him a lot. He has never said a hateful word about any other person or program, unlike his mentor! ;)

The NBA should make it 2 yrs of college minimum, and what to do with the high school kids ? - Messy! Minimum age should be 21, that way they can get into the strip clubs legally !! LOL

It looks like it official and Rivers is going to the NBA according to the sports reports! I actually think as good a player as he is he wasn't the best fit for Coach K's style. Great shooter!

Somebody posted that two years college ought to be a requirement before playing in the NBA. Personally I think if you can go to war at 18 you should be able to wear silk shorts and dribble at 18.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.....my mind wasn't comprehending that right. My take on this. A high school ball player will be getting advice from many people. Some with the player in mind and others who will profit from him going pro. Thus the agent or scouts advice will be to Pro. if he's (player) is borderline or just doesn't make it then his college career is shot. He can go to college for a year or two or finish school and this usually sorts itself out. Cream usually rises to the top!
