A lady from S. Korea cooked this for me and it is very good.

4-5 lbs beef short ribs flank style (have meat dept take a package of short ribs and cross cut them about 1/4" thick)

Mix
3/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
2 teaspoons msg(optional)
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup chopped green onions (spring onions)
1 cup water

Marinate at least 5-6 hours before grilling
You can increase the marinade by 50% to pour over ribs after grilling

this is one of our plate lunch staples in hawaii, it's known as kalbi short ribs and is generally served with 2 scoops of rice and one scoop of mac salad. Great recipe
