Proof of purchase must be postmarked no later than June 30, 2012. You must email me at [email protected] ([email protected]) or call 1-800-451-2127 to receive the pricing and to order. Lastly the standard Satellite 406 EPIRB (P/N 2874 or 2875) has the $208 in merchandise. The Bulk Buy extends to the ACR 2881 Floating ResQLink Plus PLB but I'll offer some great pricing on all other models as well. How much is the bulk buy on the ACR 2881 Floating ResQLink Plus PLB? Do you know how long the battery is good for and how much it costs currently to replace them?

'LittleChic' the ResQlink battery is minimum 5 year and the replacement battery is $90 installed right now. In 5 years that may creep up a bit. Thanks, Brian

Hey Brian, how much is the unit?

Electricblue, the PLUS (2881) floats and the regular (2880) does not. Both are global units and if you plan on boating the floating PLB makes sense. Mountain climbers, hikers, skiers, etc. probably don't care if it floats but at only 1/4 inch difference in bulk size, I see the 2880 going away.

Worldcatguy, please email me at [email protected] for pricing or call our 1-800-451-2127 number. Below MAP pricing so I cannot post. Thanks, Brian

(http://www.lrse.com/) (http://www.facebook.com/liferaft)Assuming you are a State registered vessel, your minimum requirements will be a USCG approved Inflatable Buoyant Apparatus. This will limit the manufacturer's you have to choose from, Zodiac, DBC, RFD Elliot & Crewsaver all falling under Survitec who picked up Revere's USCG side of the business. Revere only supplies recreational life rafts now and Switlik has dropped their commercial USCG line as well, except in government contracts. A Jim Buoy life float is acceptable until Jan. 2015 so there will be a large turn in the market toward IBAs. Anyway I emailed you a quote for the mandatory USCG required equipment, which essentially is the raft, 406MHz EPIRB, type IV throwable with 90' line and automatic light, PFDs for all POB, 3-50 or 50 + Flare kit, No Oil Discharge & No Dumping placards, and Survival Suits in northern waters for months other than July & August. Thanks for the post!

You need to indicate if you are commercial or recreational. If recreational, you are not required to have as much equipment as commercial, at least not in my state.

Like 'Legal' said, depending on which state you live in because it varies but the constants for undocumented, recreational vessels are 3 Red hand held flares, TYPE I (or equivelent) PFDs for all POB, and a throwable TYPE IV floating device. EPIRBS or PLBs are not mandatory.
