I paid a little over $42 for my 4x4 Lariat with Eco-Boost, Nav, Camera, moon roof, off-road pkg, remote start, so yeah I think that's a fair price.

Sounds like a fair deal too me also, most dealers here in Maryland are offering 10K off the MSRP

As a Ford retiree, I can sponsor a few people a year to buy on X-plan, aka "friends and neighbors" pricing. Have your dealer show you xplan price on the invoice. If it is a better deal, pm me and I will set you up. All "factory" cash incentives come off of this price.

I bought an 11 F-150 Lariat 4x4 5.0...they tried to sell me the V6 but wouldn't let me tow my boat with it on the test drive (so no eco-boost here)....got the lariat plus package which had the 18" rims, back-up camera, navigation, heated and cooled seats etc....I paid 40,800 out the door.....they even threw in a spray in rhino lining and running boards so my wife could get in it.....sounds like a fair deal to me

Have you shopped Ram? You can get a loaded XLT with 4WD, Hemi power, Longhorn edition and save yourself 10K. Go with the new Express package and save more. Just traded my 10 in on a 12.
If not, take crothers offer. Those plans offer a lot of money off. I would just make sure you know all the factory offers plus maybe a USAA, credit union, or Insurance Co credit cash back too. Some financing may get you a 1000.00 credit also. Just pay it off with the first billing.

Last August I bought a 2011 2wd 5.0 SuperCrew Lariat loaded (no gps) for 34,659. Put 17K miles on it and just sold it last Tuesday for 32k.

I am a Ford dealer in Ga. Anyone wants to pm me I run a very transparent operation, i.e. I'll show you invoice, X plan, my mark up etc. Be glad to help any of you buying Fords directly or indirectly.
Tight lines

P.S. Most people over estimate difference in MSRP and invoice and frankly you have to watch the "extra fees" when buying

I live about 45 min from you. I buy 2-4 vehicles a year for vering business. I buy from Henderson Ford..and deal with the owner and or GM...I get invoice..plus any vehicle bought gets a lifetime warranty on more than power train.. So when my tranny went at 263k..it cost me 50.00. It doesn't get any better than this. Call me tomorrow and Ill hook you up with Joe the owner or Kirk the GM/sales manager ..thanks and good luck Jeff Jassby 228-216-0900

Figure invoice minus incentives to be a good deal. For my '12 Lariat that I bought last month, I ended up at $200 under invoice minus incentives ($3250 at the time). If I had used X-Plan, I would have started at about $100 over invoice, or $300 more than what I paid.

Thanks for the responses. We are at a difference of $1500 on truck . I was hoping they needed to make that end of month quota but dealership doesn't seem to be concerned. It's not a volume dealer. I am waiting to see if they follow up with me? But then again it's the truckmi want and what's $1500 anyway when u are spending 40k

Ok here is what's on the buyers order in front of me

Msrp $47,330.00
Dealer cost invoice $42,999.92
Dealer rebates $4,000
My trade value 07 Lexus es350 $17,000. (fair book value)

Leaves me paying $23,513.37 this includes sales tax $1309.45

So I'm paying $39,000 for truck
The trade value on my car seems good it's not in great condition

Opinions?

The dealership will not go any lower.

Find someone willing to play ball. I flew one way January 2011 to Memphis from Baltimore to get my 2010 F-150 SCREW Lariat. Its loaded with MAX TOW PACKAGE, but without NAV. I paid $33K and it only had 7500 miles on it. Already had some nice mods by the PO like Line-X, Front Leveling kit, dual exhaust and tinted windows.

Traveling a little ways may help you find the best deal!

Good LUCK!

If you are dealing with the ford dealer in Pascagoula , you won't find a better bunch of folks . i've bought all my cars and trucks from them for 8 or 9 years...everything about the deal has always been exactly as it should be...and they are boat crazy!
