Is it better to have a 4 post lift up or down to remove it? The electricity will be off and I'd like to leave it in a good spot.

If you're removing a 4 post lift I'd take the cradle beams off 1st & then dismantle from there. Once you remove the cradle you can now take off the top beams. Call me when you have a moment so we can discuss further & offer you additional guidance.
