That has always been my opinion of him/her.

He was rated the least liked commentator for the NFL yet he is doing the SB.
I can't stand him because I'm a Steeler's fan and he obviously hates the Steeler's because he played for the Bengals and the Steeler's would beat them like an egg.

The only one I dislike more than Collinsworth would be Michael Irvin. I have to mute the TV when Irvin is talking. Have you ever seen a person with bigger lips than Irvin has??? No wonder he's so hard to understand when he talks. :o

I can't think of anyone worse..... granted I'm a Patriots fan, but when I looked at my buddy who is a Giants fan, when Chris made his probably 10th stupid comment of the game and said something like "I have not seen the Patriots start off this bad in a long time" It was after their second play of the game. He said my Dad usually mute's the game when Chris is commentating....Nuff said!!

The Patriots without a running game of any sort and receiving core on the lamb pretty much sums up their defeciencies.

Look at it this way they were competitive and made a game of it.

I have always liked Chris, he calls an honest game and tells it like it is. Maybe you all just don't like the honesty and need some kind words more often like....(please, maybe, kind-of, hopefully, he really tried, don't blame, not his fault) I thought the game was called wonderfully last night, I even give the Refs an A++.

Chris has a bad history with the Pats going back to when he was a player. He carries that hatred with him now. He got his ass kicked because of his comments back then, and he's still pissed.

The worlds worse is Dan Dordolf,now he really stinks.;)

Collinsworth couldn't unzip Aaron Rodgers pants fast enough! I hate when he calls a game. He ranks up there with Vern Lundquist in my mind. Bring back Madden and Summerall

Yea I get tired of the contridiction from most commentators now. Last night in the 4th qtr Collinsworth ripped Mario Manningham for running poor deep routes (being to close to the sidelines). Then 10 min later when Mario caught that deep pass on the sidelines and got both feet in, Chris praised his effort and made it seem like Mario should be the Super Bowl MVP. In which it was a very nice catch that gave them the go ahead score but 10 minutes before he was a POS who couldn't run good deep routes. ;?

Gruden to me is the same way but the difference is Gruden uses dumber terms and analogies.

Dan Deirdoff is hands down the worst comentator..I like Sims and Aikman.

Nobody, and I mean nobody, sucks as much as Lundquist. He and that other jackass, Gary Danielson, called the major SEC games for CBS and they blow. I am not certain Vern even watches the game given the stupid shit he says after every play. Danielson acts like he was the most brilliant QB to ever play the game. I pray for the day those clowns are fired or sent to cover another conference, the SEC fans have suffered enough.

No, he just speaks the truth, and you don't like it. He is ussually correct.

CC has always been a Pats hater. And yup....he can be very annoying to listen to. But.....he is EXTREMELY intuitive..and knowledgeable. NO ONE is better at quickly picking up different nuances about the game and verbalizing them immediately........annoying....yeah......but he is one of the best..imho......
