Wow, a little bigger than last year....Feel in love with the Regulator 26...again
Wife loved the 450 Sea Ray..Hydra-Sports looked great!!....Sea Hunt still has the best bang for the buck, awesome boats....Did not wait in line for the Cabo 44 or the Azimut boats...seems like Grady only brought DC boats.... TONs of pleasure boats this year....Pursuit had a few, cant get over the "special"boat show pricing on the new 385...$512k.....:o

I went yesterday. Way too many pleasure boats for my liking. Some of the pricings blew me away as well. That Everglades for around 500k I think, the Pursuit 315 for ~280, and the Whaler 285 for ~235. WTF. On the other side of things, the Cape Horn 31 and the 28' Parker CC seemed like bargins. The GW display was definitely lackluster. The Regulator display was awesome and I did like seeing a Yellowfin there. I spent most of my time talking to the guys at Connley Fishing. Ended up leaving with a new 7' conventional rod and some jewelry for my mom's b-day tomorrow.

X2 on too many pleasure boats but it is a boat show afterall. Marketplace was full of too much infomercial crap.

I was there also. I was all over that 350 LX Everglades. What a sweet boat! Its the same size and layout as my Mako, just super pimped out. They thought of every trick and feature imaginable. The finish is also top notch. As much as I loved that boat, I could not help but think it lacked in the one key area compared to my Mako and that was fishability. Everglades if your listening, make a real easy access to the bow and make at least one side of the boat where you can fish 6 guys down the entire 36 foot length of the boat while drifting it sideways. If you can pull that off you hit the ball right out of the park.

I only saw one Cat at the show, a Glacier Bay Isle Runner, so I was a little disappointed. I was hoping there would be World Cats available.

What did you guys think of the Cape Horn?? Nice lines and priced around $141K... I liked some of the simple things they had ie Armstrong access plates in the stern for access versus my sealed one ones on my contender...
Also, did anyone stop in and say hi to Jim of BOE Marine who had a nice trailer set up. He's a THT sponsor and with new electronics in the near future, plan on giving him a shout to put together a pricing package for me...
Some nice looking ladies around and cold beer so great way to kill half a day...
