*** SOLD *** SOLD ***
I purchased this Garmin GPSMAP 640 Nov 2011 as a backup GPS for an ocean run from NJ to VA and boy did it come in handy. I am selling it now to raise some cash for outdrive repairs. This is a pretty nice unit since it has its own battery (9hrs) and covers both auto and boat navigation. I also purchased a RAM suction mount that attaches to any smooth. It never let go the whole trip. Also does XM WX satellite weather and radio with the addition of a GXM 40 antenna and has a brilliant 5.2-inch WVGA screen. Unit is 100%, no damage at all, storage in the house since the trip. See full spec below.
Researching the internet the cheapest one I could find new was $636 shipped and there were some refurbished ones for $515 shipped. I am asking $475 shipped in Cont US and this includes the RAM Mount. (note; this model does not come with a suction mount from the factory). Thanks for looking.
