Just saw in my latest Canoe & Kayak magazine this festival in April. Was thinking about going but sounds like the cost could add up pretty quickly depending what you wanted to do. Anyone ever been / worth going? Is this something you bring your own yak to or just see/use what they have?

It is a great opportunity to check out new yaks and yakking equipment.

I know this is a somewhat dated post, but, the festival is a great opportunity to try out a ton of different kayaks, some canoes, and SUP boards in one place for a minimal daily or event long fee. If you plan far enough ahead you can get a tent or rv spot onsite within the park. I've been going for the last 4-5 years and it's the cheapest way to take advantage of the event. If you want to take part in any of the clinics it's probably best to bring your own boat.
