22ft 2005 Majek Extreme bayboat with a 225 Mercury Optimax. Stainless steel Mercury Rev4 prop, Hydraulic steering, 6in hydraulic jack plate, lenco trim tabs, 101lb thrust Minnkota trolling motor with 3 batteries and on board charger, leaning post with storage and removable backrest, live well, 6.5in and 8in pioneer speakers with a sony CD player, and a custom tandem axle aluminum Magnum trailer. Also comes with a cover.
Cruises a tad over 40mph and WOT 60+mph depending on load. It is surprisingly dry and cuts right through the rough stuff. It's an awesome boat but I need something to go in the ocean because that's where I spend most of my time. I would like to keep it but I can't afford two boats.

You are right. I don't think there are too many on the east coast. I did not buy it new. I bought it almost 2 years ago from a guy in Alabama. I love the boat and I wish I could keep it but I spend most of the time in the ocean so she's gotta go so I can get a offshore hull in the 21-23ft range.

Do you know the hours on the motor?

Great boats for shallow and bay waters.

I'm not sure because it doesn't have a hour meter and I have never had it hooked up to a computer. From what the previous owner told me and the time I have owned it I would say somewhere from 700-800hrs. It runs perfect and it definitly sips gas and oil. My friends and I can't believe how efficient it is!

I would imagine you get a few looks at the ramp in that boat. I know because I have Challenger 215, that I fish here in Corpus Christi, the home of Majek boats. I get stopped all the time. Majek's are very popular here, the quality in the boat is understated by the clean layout. Take each for its intended use and I would say it compares to the KenCraft very well in longevity and durability. Hope this helps.

Thanks shortcast, I do get a lot of looks around here. I had a challenger 215 before the majek and loved it. Challengers are great boats! I thought I wouldn't need a offshore boat because I have a friend that has one and I fish with him all the time. The fact is when I use my boat it is to go hang out on the barrier islands and when I go fishing it is in the ocean %75 of the time. Its great for island hopping but not so great for the ocean. It looks like the market isn't that great of course so I guess I will use it until a buyer comes along. Thanks for the bump!

I've had several people from Texas call who seem interested but no one comes through. Its a long way from taxas but i'd be willing to work with someone on shipping. Most people outside of Texas don't know what they are missing. I bet if anyone shopping for a bayboat takes a ride they will be impressed!

She's heading back to Texas where she was born. A lot of people on the East coast lost out on a chance for an awesome bayboat. They are popular in Texas and the Gulf coast for a reason. I don't think there are many on the East coast and I sure hate to see it leave. Now its time for a new (to me) boat and I hope it is as fun as the last!
