Trying to figure out how to make a 25" shaft work on a 20" transom.
We used one of these on my sons Larson Center Console. Boat was designed to use a 20" but got a great deal on a 25" shaft motor. I can send you a picture if you like.

What is your price? That is exactly the motor I need, although I have 6 months to buy it (am building a boat). Would have to figure out shipping to FL.

I need a 20" motor. This one is 25".
This motor starts and runs like a new engine. No issues at all. If it isn't what I say it is, I'll give you all of your $$ back. Great opprotunity for a smart buyer to save a lot of money.

I would say you are about right, I paid 4400.00 for a 2002 150 carburetored motor that was super clean and it took me a while to find it.

Thanks- Rob.
I have a fellow from the Mid-Atlantic that is pretty interested in an outright purchase and I'll continue to follow-through with him.
Although the DF70 is on the small end, that might work for me Rob. I'll give you a call later today to see exactly what you have and what type of trade that you might have in mind.

I called several additional Yamaha retailers today and the cheapest F115 that I could find was $8968. That price was for the motor only. No rigging. No cables. No guages. No prop. Motor only. All of the rigging will add an additional $2.5k.
Install would be several hundred dollars additional if performed by the dealer.

I have not even picked the engine up from the dealer yet.
If it is something that you might be interested in, send a PM and we can talk.

The motor is for sale on a "cash" trade only. No longer interested in a motor-for-motor trade.
And $6500 is a firm price. If it makes you feel better, I'll advertise the motor and rigging for $7k and we can negotiate to 6500. Or you can have the motor for 6000 w/o the rigging.
