Not many vendors but overall, a nice way to spend the day with the family.

Small show. Mostly local dealers. Not too many manufactures.

It's a mix of things -- some vendors, some manufacturers. The best part by far are the seminars.
If you're looking for GLoomis rods 50% off or a new Contender 23T for $30K, you won't find it. If you're looking for good advice and learning some new tricks/tactics -- you will find it. The guys who come from FS to talk are easy to approach and helpful.
The crowd size is driven by the weather. If the weather is lousy those days, crowds are bigger.

Never been to the Tampa show, but used to go to the WPB one all the time until I found easier ways to waste a day. No product, no vendors, just a complete waste unless you really need bad popcorn or $5 hotdogs.
Sorry, but that's my honest opinion about it!
If it's how-to videos you're after, just check out youtube from the comfort of your home. If you're looking for boats, go to the Lauderdale or Miami boat show.

I went to that show. Frankly totally disappointed. I wont go again. If a man can't find a single Avet reel there, from a variety of different booths - well that says something.
To me - it was a walmart vs k-mart vs target battle of cheap tee's, mid range tackle, and not a single offshore vessel to look at.

WPB show was cancelled, so that should tell you something about the quality of FS shows.
