Based on an ultra-light high modulus graphite blank, the action of the Costero Elite rods have been fine tuned for inshore angling.

“The Costero Elite Inshore rod (http://www.stingraytackle.com/costero-elite.aspx) is one of the most unique rods I have ever seen. The 100% graphite blank results in a very fast action rod while keeping weight to less than 7 ounces for a 7 foot rod” said William Fernandez, a member of StingRay’s Pro Staff. “Having the weight down makes it a perfect rod to cast all day on the flats or in the groves”.

The Costero Elite rods are available in a 7’ medium (6 - 12 pound) and a medium heavy action (8 - 16 pound) spinning blank. Both models come in at less than 6.5 ounces, ultra-light single foot SIC guides, light gunmetal aluminum reel seat and highlights and genuine grade A Portuguese cork handles. The Costero Elite is the perfect rod for the demanding and serious inshore angler looking for a high performance rod.

Don't forget the 2 year No Hassle Warranty.

I bought one of these from William over at StingRay and love this rod. It's light and I have it matched up with a Cabo 40. The action is really good and fast for jigging and walkin the dog type lures. I will probably get a few more of these for my charters since they are really user friendly for the novice to the pro with very responsive action. I bought mine after a nieghbor of mine had one when we were out fishing dock lights at night. Unfortunately he snapped his in half in the truck tailgate and Stingray didn't even ask what happened, they just replaced it....that's nice to see for a change. I was skeptical because I'm a name brand tried and true kinda guy but the warranty service and quality for the price sold me. Don't take my word, go check them out if you need a fast action sensitive rod for inshore.

Twisted Hook,

I am glad you like the rod, it is one of my favorites for inshore fishing. Yes, we do have an amazing warranty for our products, two year NO questions asked. If there is anything we can help you with do not hesitate to come on in. Since snook season started I am sure you are putting that rod to the test.

Good luck and Tight lines!
