So I have to go to Port Hueneme for a couple months for some school, I'll be there September - mid December just wondering if there is any fishing in the area if I should take any tackle or not. I have a fair amount of rods and reels to choose from since I used to live on the Gulf Coast and fished a lot.

Any advice would be appreciated.
