I have a Tide Tamer 4 post lift that uses one pole to wind the cable on for both sides of the lift.
(The other cable goes to a pulley)
The gearbox on the lift is a Perfect Systems one that connects to the pole with a sleeve and trough bolt. It connects to the electric motor through a belt system.

I have noticed a grinding sound out of the gearbox, and upon checking the rear seal is leaking so it looks like is going to go.

I contacted Tide Tamer and they advise that this gearbox is no longer available.

Any advise any models that I could replace it with??

Thanks in advance

Mike

Mike,

Sorry I'm just getting back to you, I've been out of the office. The old PSI gear boxes were not a very good unit & a lot of people are having trouble with them. I don't carry that model do in part to all the issues like what you're experiencing. Give me a shout when you have a moment so we can discuss.
