For the first time ever I seen a thermocline in the west end of Lake Erie. It's been consistant @ the 25'-27' level in 30'+ depth. Found a thermocline on the SE corner of Kelley's in 30' of water and again west of Middle in 40'. Both times it was right at the 25'-27' level.

Must be because the surface temp is 83 degrees, but first time in 35+ years of boating I have ever seen a thermocline in western Lake Erie.
