I have been looking at purchasing a used boat for the last year. The most difficult part of the entire process has been trying to determine what a good price is for the boats I have looked at. I have attempted to use the NADA guidlelines but rarely does this resource appear to give a good idea of pricing. What is a good method for determining if what a seller is asking is a good price for there boat. I am intereted in a 1993 256Dusky with a 250 four stroke Zuke. The motor has approx. 100hrs. on it and it is a 2007. The seller is asking $24,750.00. Good price? I looked at a 1997 model of the same boat with twin 175 evinrudes with only 550hrs on these motors and it had a trailer where this one does not and it was sold at 19,000. Where do you start in determining value. All help and suggestions would be appreciated, THANKS
