Well it is that time of year again, we are all looking forward to the boating season, so in the mean time how about we get together for some laughs (drinks) and some food. If anyone is interested just post it on this thread. If anyone can get in touch with Ft. Smallwood invite him and some of his guests.

If you're in Sea School, good luck! Hardest course I ever took, including undergrad and some grad level classes! They'll get you through it. I got USCG Master #923776. Have a ball and learn a lot!

Sounds like trouble! Bunch of thirsty THT fisherman snowed in for the winter! You all need a little antifreeze in ya just in case! We were in NC over Christmas, but we minds well have come up there, I think it may have been warmer!
Big E, I think you may have an old email address for me. I sold the old business and don't have that domain name any more. Just the other day I was thinking about giving you a call. Hope you, the wife and all you other fine guys are doing well. Leaving in the morning for Ohio for a couple of days, but I'll give you a call when I get back so we can catch up.
I may be able to make it up. It was a real pleasure meeting you all last time. Is there a date set yet?
Have a safe and happy new year.

Steve, I took the ouse in 2000, never took the test health related issues BUT SS is the way to go.
There policy of getting you the tag is true. Even after 4 fours years they will put me through the school again at no charge.
Have all my books and notes from the last time and will start reviewing prior to going back. It is a crueling schedule though,
Sat and sun 9-6
Mon thru friday 5-10
back Sat and Sun 9-6.
Talk about brain freeze :o
CPR and first aid on the 16th of Jan
Then classes starting Jan 29th
By the end of the class I will take the test and pass it hopefully then apply for my masters and towing endorsment.
Then I'll take the tanker of moonshine with a straw

OK, guys. If you want to do what we did last year, Hanky has informed me that it looks good for the "club" in February or March ('roundabouts).
I just got off the phone with Barry. He said he's pretty sure he'd make the trip, so start formulating suggestions for a date.
By all means if there are ideas for something spontaneous before then, let's hear it!
BTW- Everyone have a Happy, Healthy New Year!
