Scott, How did you do? Will be heading out Friday morning. Heard the pods are small and very scattered. It`s been tough. Will look in the morning then drop deep for some cod. Any info would be great.
Thanks,
Phil

Spent 1/2 day trying to hook up but didn't happen! PH seems to be the best place. The stick boats and spotter plane were out. Heard a few guys hook up on radio. At least we loaded up on cod.

Just got back myself. Plenty of birds, bait & whales about 5 miles east of the hill. Not much tuna action.

Trolled a spread for a few hours on tuesday midday all around peaked hill and a few miles north of there and only had a few hits from bluefish. Like others have said....lots of life (birds, whales, 5-6 stickboats, 3-4 spotter planes) but we didn't see any tuna crashing. Hopefully these fish move all the way north to the bank this week. I wouldn't go out there without live bait....

Yup, that was me Scott. Holler next time (Too Blue on 68). I started at the golfball and worked north. Signs of life were better off PH.
Is it me or is this season off to a slow start compared to the last couple? Maybe I'm just missing the "on" days...
