Went fishing last Saturday out of Port Aransas ans as usual NOAA missed the forecast by a few feet. We still had fun, well most of us did.

The seas weren't 15' nor where they 4'-5'. They where in between at 6'-8' with a few 10's thrown in for good luck. We cavitated a lot that day. Good part was that at least one wheel was in the water most of the day!

Actually, the dynamic currents pattern of June in the western Gulf of Mexico makes it hard to predict sea heights. I'll give NOAA that much.

Love the second pic. I have quite few of those sideways looking pics where it looks like someone is falling out of the boat when I fished on questionable days.

I was in my old Cary the My Three Sons. Didn't plan on it being that rough but you know how it goes. My oldest boy doesn't care how rough it gets and my youngest still gets queezy at times. Super deep vee hulls tend to roll badly, especially with a tuna tower on top. I had to keep the stern to the seas while we fished.
