Man I was really looking forward to fishing tomorrow. 1' or 1'-2' forecasted all week. Yesterday and today the wind is blowing steady 15 knots!

Man we gonna get a butt whipping if we can even go. Oh well heading out of Fourchon at 6am.

My son, wife, and I headed out of Fourchon Thursday morning for the rigs out at the 200' curve to catch some snapper. 1s and 2s forecast, but the swells were steep, close, and confused. Not really bad, but more than my wife wanted to ride out. We tried a few rigs about half way out for whatever was there, black drum, and called it a day. Of course it seemed to be smoothing out some by the time we came in. Good luck if you head out.

I went out Thur am also. Too rough for me and my 11 yr old son, so we stayed in the pass. TDM, I think I saw you headed in maybe around 1-ish? I was tied up to a channel marker in bell pass (lost my anchor) letting my son catch white trout and croaker.
I was down for 3 days last week also. Fished within 10 miles of the pass for mangroves. Didn't bring home too many fish, but did catch a few.

We went out yesterday and there was good 2-3's all day. Caught no fish and had two chummers, one being my wife so we rolled to horn and relaxed the rest of the day. Not a good day of fishing.

Went out friday out of D.I. with a 1-2 ft. sea. I didn't see a 1-2 all day had some nice 4"s+ though with some really nice 6's mixed in. Next time I go out and its that far off i am going to make a stop by NOAH and kick the crap out of someone. U don't have to be dead on, just be close. Only took 28oz to reach the bottom the water was running so fast. Probably knocked out more snapper than we caught.

Just got my ass handed to me Fri and today out of D.I. It was rough. I took a bunch of noobs, and we caught our limit Friday, but it was tough. Didn't have enough crew this morning. I just took a co-worker and his kid out to pull on some Bonita. I may be through looking at the bouy report. Lies! It's all lies!

Got our ass handed to us Saturday. Only good thing was that I did my first tow. A 22 Grady had engine problems and we towed them back to DI marina.
