hi guys, im looking at some new rod, reels and line to get. i am planning on going to j and h tackle in oakdale. this is what i need for, i am going to use it for cod,striped bass,bluefish and tog, going to jig and drop most of the time. the reels i am looking at is conventional: avet mxj, accurate boss, shimano tekota 700, Spinning: Shimano Saragosa which size? penn conquer which size? now for rods conventional: shimano terez 40-80 or 50-100, shimano trevala 50-100, connley K 20-50, Spinning: shimano trevala 50-100 or any others. now for line: Momoi #65, Samurai accudepth #70, PP #65, Daiwa saltiga boat braid #80
Any input will help.. if you have any other suggestions on what i should please say, thank you in advance.

As far as the Conventional Reels go, All that you metioned are great reels..
As far as size goes, I would get a reel that holds at least 300yards of 40lb Braid.. I personally think 70# braid is way to heavy.. I use 30lb for just about everything you mentioned. I would also not go more then 50lb..
The Penn Battles 5000 is a very strong reel and everyone who has purchased one from us so far really liked them..
I use the 5000 and it worked well on some nice Stripers

i use #40 briad right now and it works good so i will stay at #40, but the thing is that idk which 1 to get.
