There's been lots of posts on Hull/Deck cleaners. I like Barkeepers, 409 and Marykate detailing. Last week, while cleaning the boat and engine jusrt before covering. I ran out of 409 which is my usual general purpose cleaner and ON/OFF the usual hull scum cleaner and tried Fantastic Orange.

I have heard these citrus or orange cleaners were good but figured it was just marketing. The stuff is definately better than 409 and it did the end of year green scum as good as ON/OFF (Muriatic Acid) and you don't have to worry about getting it on metal or rubber parts.

Just wanted to share this - but probably many of you all already know....

That's good info!

I've always used Greased Lightning for engine cleaning and had good results at 1/3 strength.
