Question: On my 20 ft Shamrock CC, After running it for a couple hours I noticed that my Volt gage was only reading 12 volts, where it had been reading 14. No matter how long I continued to run, it stayed at 12 V. I checked the batteries with my VTVM. They are reading 14 volts and my Alternator is putting out 14.2 volts.
Can I assume my meter is bad or going bad? I checked all the wiring, everything seems to be in order. The meter is appears to have came with the boat, back in 1982.
Any thoughts, ideas, fix's?

Got a GPS or a depthfinder? Both of mine show voltage, although they never seem to match.
