September is hard to beat. I know Hurricane seasn. But rates are better at houses and resorts and everytime time i have been there, got very consistent winds variable out of the SW and lots of fish out there. Tuna and Dolphin, and plenty of yellowtail on the reef.

Early summer can get brutal winds out of the East. But the best time for Dolphin fishing

I'm a fan of May. Granted, its the only real time I've been but windy or not the fishing has always kicked ass. You'll definately need a pair to go out when its windy though  :)

Head Kned, What are the air tempatures generally like? Are you talking early, mid or late September?

Please provide targeted species and method of fishing (eg troll, drift or anchore) if you can?
