I bought four rods from this company earlier this year and as I was searching around for a nice bait net, I asked them if they could build one....and the answer was yes.
I received it today and am very pleased with the end result. Thanks for a great net, now to test it out.

Bryan has made several rods for me and has been great helping me with designing just what I wanted. I have rods and gaffs that match, it looks like I need a bait net now.
I really like the spiral coil on the rim of the net. Should hold up a lot longer.

Its a aftco net and they are the absolute best. I still have one that is going on 7 years old.
I think the one above was epoxy coated black wrapped and then epoxied again.

Just had my rod builder put together a gaff for me and he is also making a bait net. Love the one-off look!

Can you make one with a mono mesh? Doesnt freak the bait out as much, and they often swim into it because they can see it.

unfortunately aftco stop making the mono bait nets becuase they were not holding up. I still have one and try to take care of it. I was trying to convince them to make more of them but they were reluctant to make them.

Thanks for the nice words! I am now busy building 4 custom nets directly from this thread!! ;)
The nest are very high quality with replaceable nets which is a must have since the finished product runs $89. To be honest, I can build a complete custom set of 20 rods, Gaffs, electric reels and so on and the little net always gets the most attention!!

and then you need to make everyone buy a custom dehooker that matches the custom net.
