I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a new set of foul weather gear but am having trouble deciding between two different styles. Those of you who wear the grudens, how does the pvc/cotton (herkules) compare to the pvc/nylon (harvestor)?

When you are ready to pull the trigger let me know. A couple of my suppliers carry them and I may be able to save you a couple of bucks on a set!!!

I use and really like the Clipper series jackets and bibs. Never used the herkules or Harvestor.

Clipper here as well. The pvc is easier to clean fishing guts off.

The harvestor is the heavier grade. Im on year 8 or 9 on my herkules.

I used the Nordan style from Grundens, they are light weight, comfortable and stay flexible in april and november! Not as bulky as the Herc's. I have had the same pair for 4 yrs with no holes, tears, etc.
