Big Thanks to Bob for all the help selling my boat!!

My 2003 290 Coastal has officially sold using Anglers Edge Marine listing service. The whole process took 16 months from initial listing. I was on the fence about selling so I had the boat priced in the middle of the pack relative to comps. Regardless I still had a number of people look at the boat as well as getting calls from as far as West coast, Canada and even Austrailia. Over the course of the winter I dropped the pricing to be on the low end of comps and as the weather turned my phone starting ringing off the hook. All the while Bob was there forwarding leads, putting me in touch with shipping brokers and advising me on selling points.

The boat was well maintained so the survey didn't come up with anything significant and the buyer was kind enough to assume the few items on the survey list.

One interesting thing to note was the surveyor brought up the yamaha corrosion issue. With out ever inspecting my lowers he said that if they weren't replaced it was a potential deal breaker. Mine were done through YES so I was able to prove it with warranty info from yamaha provided by Andy at shipyard Island Marine. Big thanks to Andy!!

Bottom line...Bob's listing service gets you the exposure you just need to keep it in good shape and price it right.
