I am considering adding forward bunks to my trailer since I am not please with the way the roller and v are treating my hull.

I am looking for advice into adding them and have included pics to show the current setup and cross-members.

Do I need to add an additional cross-member? Can (or should I) move the current cross-member forward? etc...

Thanks in advance...

Run them inside the rear bunks.

Start at the middle crossmember and run them rearward to the crossmember where the rear bunk starts.

The can overlap the crossmembers a foot or so.

Excellent, so the crossmembers are ok where they are and I can just add the bunks then ditch the roller and V bunk that is causing me issues.

Does anyone have pics of their forward bunk install? Specifically the attaching hardware.

Remember forward bunks are for guide on purposes. The back bunks are the weight bearing bunks. Here are the forward bunks on my trailer. You can see the hardware..Mark

Your forward bunks, target bunks, should have a wobble head so you can adjust the bunk to match your hull when you install it. You want the bunk to lay flat against the hull.
Target bunks are great except if you back in to deep the stern lifts and pins the bow down on the target bunk.
