One of mine needs a little and one needs a lot. I had already ordered some filler from you, 2 bags I think, but I need more. I am in Jacksonville, is there any way to get cheaper shipping? Shipping air is expensive. I don't know how much I need but at least 2 more bags.

Never got a response to my PM reply.

Probably meaning the filler? I'm not really sure what is happening. The bags are in good shape, no holes but one bag is definitely needing stuffing and the other could probably use some also. We do use them an awful lot.

Most people dont realize it, but the vinyl does stretch thus making the bag less full. Our filler also does compress about 20%. However our filler is still 9 times more dense then most others the combination between the compression of filler and stretch of the vinyl may lead to an under filled bag over time. This is why we sell a 2 cu ft for only 10.00, an inexpensive, simple solution.

I replied to your PM, I have a truck delivering there and already put the order in for you. Just see Steve.

Yep, that's what I meant, thanks for explaining.

Why doesn't anyone use the "hard beans" that used to be used?? I remember as a kid, the old beanbags were heavy, and full of actual dried beans which are much heavier than this styrofoam stuff.

Ah ha, now I know why they call them "Bean" bags.

For the house, stoned in the 70's, i'm sure real beans worked just fine:grin:.

However with the ups and downs of todays high speed boats, our high density filler does a much better job. We sew two handles in every E-SeaRider to secure them when unoccupied. This way they can be light but still secured when unattended.
