I am hearing a chatter comming from the engine when first putting the engine into gear and out of gear. It goes away when I throttle up. Any ideas. My old Suzuki guy says there may be adjustments and it would not be covered under warranty and the guy that installed it says it is normal due to the weight of the stainless prop. The motor is a 2011 90hp

Is it a squeeky sound?

I have a pair of 2011 90HP Suzukis and I have no "chatter" when they into or out of gear, and I fail to see why any adjustment would not be done for free, whoever installed them did not do it 100% if that is the case. The weight of the prop sounds a bit strange to me, maybe if you were just close to being in gear and the dog clutch was grinding on the gear it may make a noise, but to engage gear is a simple and solid in or out and it just "clunks" in
