Boats For Sale and Wanted - 36' Yellowfin 250 verados (SOLD)

Seriously considering a smaller cc for next season so i'm putting my 36 up for sale. So to answer the question up front, Yes id consider smaller trades. Always been partial to 25 - 31 Contenders. If the boat doesnt sell this winter im going to run it next season.

As she sits right now the boat is in need of a 25" Counter rotating motor as the existing one somehow ingested water and went kaput. The other two motors run perfect and have 400 hrs. I am actively looking for a replacement motor but with the winter closing in my motivation to hang an engine in 20 degree weather only to have it sit for months isn't very attractive. This could change at any time if a good deal presents itself. (Id figure 5-6 k for a clean low hr replacement motor.)
I also would entertain offers without power if that suits your needs.

I bought this boat last spring and have a full survey available.
Fuel numbers are around 1.3 or so at 40 mph. It always seemed to have more fuel in her belly than the smartcraft claims to have used though.

Have you found a replacement motor?

No not yet. I have a few potential deals on the table as she sits. A lot of PM's coming in on how much without the motors. To answer that i say back out the value of the two good motors. Probably 5-6 k each. I can help out with the removal / dismount as well. If you consider the value at that point you can own a nice 36 YF with 3 new verados for short money. I had got quotes in the mid 30's for brand new leftover motors with 5 yr warranties. You also can go with twin 350s for not much aggravation and save on insurance and operating costs.

Is there a trailer included and if so, what brand and year model. I assume engines are 2005.

Water was ingested through either the head gasket or back through the exhaust. Mercury "couldn't" make a determination, probably because they didn't want to pay for it.
