So I decided to enter into a Christmas Boat Parade this year. My boat isnt large 23' Walkaround so I need some good ideas from anyone who has done this before and pics will be helpful. Trying to figure out if I will need a generator, thinking I will but I dont want to use a large one that is loud and dont really want to fork over the dough for one of the small ones either. Can I use batteries and converters? Hopefully this will work because I was planning on buying new batteries in the spring anyway.
thanks,

Rip

Instead of using a gen, buy led christmas lights and run them off an inverter. We do a parade every year and run about 30 strands off led lights off a small 400 watt inverter, led lights draw about 4w per strand were as I think conventional lights draw about 80w per strand. plus you dont have to listen to a noisy generator.

hope this helps
