I currently have an old Clarion XMD2 and have enjoyed the "water-tightness" of it. I just installed a Garmin 740S and GXM 51 xm receiver. Unfortunately, the older Clarion doesn't have aux jacks to allow me to play xm radio. I'm considering getting a refurb'd CMD5 off fleabay and maybe a small amp. Currently just running two Clarion 6.5 speakers and am considering going to four. It's a 21' Whaler 210 outrage so it gets plenty wet with the hose etc. Any better suggestion for a head unit that can take a hit from a water hose once in a while? Also, I see JL speakers are held in high regard here. Can they take it if I mounted them out in the weather too? I've used the search function on this site prior to posting this. Thanks so much for your valuable input.
