Can someone help me and the wife with a recipe?
Trying to make gateau desirop. Looking for a decent recipe and also we can not buy Cane Syrup here. I googled it and found some substitutes but not sure about it.

Made this recipe the first time with a substitute for Cane Syrup and the cake was terrible.
So thanks to AFD and our new supply of Cane Syrup, the wife gave this another try and the cake was spectacular.
Wow, what a difference.
