This is a Trotman anchor, I found this anchor in the fresh waters of the St.Clair river in Michigan. These anchor's where made from 1830-1880 and are very rare because of the pivoting flukes. This would have been off a wood schooner or a whale back ship. This anchor weighs 3166 lbs. and is 10' tall and 11' wide at the cross arm. I completely restored this anchor, sand blasted primed and painted black. This would look great sitting on any water front property or in front of a restaurant. I have found and brought up many ship anchors but none as nice as this one. Asking $6000.00 and is in Marysville Michigan.

This anchor is incredable. My favorite for sure. Whoever buys this anchor, post up a picture of its resting place...

I am in Toronto and very interested in this anchor. Summer home on Lake Huron (the most beautiful Great Lake) and have the perfect spot...possible to boat it across to the Goderich shores !!

Can some one please send me a link to a windless that will pull this anchor. I think it will hold my 23 on the ledge with only a small amount of scope.

Wonderful job that thing is beautiful. Would love it for a landscape center piece.
